I am a writer, a hard-working editor, a happily married woman, a mother, a grandmother, a dog lover, a cat lover.  I am blessed with a large family, many friends, and a dynamic, vibrant hometown, the college town of Gainesville, Florida. Someone asked me recently, “Where do you get your ideas?”  I don’t know – they grow more numerous every day. I can only hope I live long enough to write them all down.  Thank you for coming to my web site.

Wendy, I personally thoroughly enjoyed reading your novel, “Dear Oprah”, as I also fought and survived the cancer battle – anal canal. I recommended your novel to my friends and family so they could read and experience the difficult days of myself and my caregiving husband. Thank you to your UF ‘Boy Wonder’ for his suggestion to begin writing and your diagnosis in story form was perfect. I did find a few grammatical errors that your publisher missed, however, I am sure you did find after your reread your completed novel.
